1. General Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all email and notification services provided
through the SavevyCoupons platform operated by SavevyCoupons Inc., a Delaware
corporation. This AUP applies to all clients (merchants), their authorized users, and any end-customer
communications generated through the Service.
SavevyCoupons is a business-to-business (B2B) platform that also facilitates transactional communications
to our clients' end-customers (B2B2C). Access to the platform and its communication features is
restricted to authorized, authenticated users who have accepted our Terms of
Service.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or
termination of your account.
2. Nature of Allowable Traffic
The SavevyCoupons platform sends strictly transactional and system-generated emails. All
communications must be directly triggered by a user action, a system event, or a scheduled operational
process. The following types of email are permitted:
- Coupon redemption confirmations and digital receipts
- Loyalty points balance updates and tier change notifications
- Coupon expiration reminders (sent 48 hours before expiry)
- New reward unlocked / milestone achievement alerts
- Account registration confirmations and email verification
- Password reset and account security notifications
- Billing invoices, payment confirmations, and subscription updates
- Daily campaign performance reports (sent to merchants only)
- System maintenance notices and incident alerts
- Account suspension or termination notifications
The following types of email are strictly prohibited:
- Marketing campaigns, promotional blasts, or advertising content
- Newsletters, blog digests, or content roundups
- Cold outreach to prospective customers or leads
- Upsell or cross-sell offers not directly related to a completed transaction
- Third-party product endorsements or affiliate promotions
3. Consent & Opt-In
All email recipients must have provided consent through one of the following legitimate mechanisms:
- Contractual relationship: Merchants receive communications as part of their SaaS
subscription agreement
- Registration opt-in: End-customers provide their email address during loyalty
program enrollment, which includes clear disclosure of the types of transactional messages they will
receive
- Verified email: All end-customer email addresses are confirmed through a
verification step before any transactional messages are sent
Prohibited consent practices:
- Purchased, rented, or scraped email lists are strictly forbidden
- Pre-checked consent boxes are not used — enrollment is always an affirmative action
- Consent obtained through deceptive means or hidden terms is not valid
Consent records (date, source, IP address) are stored and available for audit upon request. All messages
include List-Unsubscribe headers and a link to the Notification Preferences page.
4. Zero-Tolerance Spam Policy
SavevyCoupons maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward spam and unsolicited
communications of any kind.
Automated Thresholds & Enforcement
- Complaint rate exceeding 0.1%: Triggers automatic sending suspension for the
offending merchant account. Sending is not restored until the account owner provides a remediation
plan reviewed and approved by our compliance team
- Bounce rate exceeding 5%: Triggers an automated review. If the elevated bounce rate
is caused by poor list hygiene or invalid addresses, the account may be suspended pending cleanup
- Feedback loop (FBL) complaints: Every complaint received through ISP feedback loops
results in the complaining address being permanently suppressed and the originating merchant being
notified
List-Unsubscribe & Notification Preferences
- All transactional emails include
List-Unsubscribe and
List-Unsubscribe-Post headers as per RFC 8058
- Recipients can manage their notification categories through the Notification Preferences page
- Essential transactional messages (security alerts, billing confirmations, critical
service notifications) cannot be fully disabled, as they are necessary for account security and
contractual obligations
- Optional operational updates (campaign performance digests, non-critical system
updates) can be disabled by the recipient at any time
- We do not promise the ability to unsubscribe from all messages — essential
transactional communications remain active for the safety and integrity of accounts
5. Prohibited Content
Emails sent through the SavevyCoupons platform must not contain:
- Spam or unsolicited commercial messages — any message sent without proper consent
or outside permitted transactional categories
- Phishing or spoofing attempts — content designed to deceive recipients into
revealing personal information, credentials, or financial details
- Malware or malicious links — attachments, scripts, or URLs that deliver viruses,
ransomware, spyware, or any harmful software
- Deceptive subject lines — subject lines that misrepresent the content or purpose of
the message
- Illegal content — any content that violates federal, state, or international law
- Defamatory, harassing, or threatening material
- Intellectual property infringement — unauthorized use of trademarks, copyrighted
materials, or proprietary designs belonging to third parties
- Content related to prohibited industries — including gambling, adult entertainment,
controlled substances, weapons, cryptocurrency, debt collection, or financial pyramid schemes
6. Email Authentication Standards
All emails sent through the SavevyCoupons platform are fully authenticated using industry-standard
protocols:
- SPF (Sender Policy Framework): Published DNS record authorizing only designated
mail servers to send on behalf of savevycoupons.com
- DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail): All outgoing messages are cryptographically
signed with a 2048-bit key. Receiving servers can verify message integrity and origin
- DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication): Configured with
p=reject
policy — any message failing both SPF and DKIM alignment is rejected by the receiving server.
Aggregate reports monitored daily
These standards ensure that our sending domain reputation is protected and that recipients can trust the
authenticity of every message originating from our platform.
7. Monitoring & Reporting
We actively monitor all email sending activity across the platform to maintain high deliverability and
prevent abuse:
- Automated delivery tracking: Every message is tracked for delivery status, bounce
type, and complaint signals in real time
- Content scanning: Outgoing messages are scanned for known spam patterns, phishing
indicators, and prohibited content before delivery
- Volume anomaly detection: Per-tenant rate limits are enforced. Sudden volume spikes
(e.g., exceeding 5× normal daily volume) trigger automated sending pause and manual review
- Abuse reporting: Reports of abuse, spam, or policy violations can be submitted to
abuse@savevycoupons.com. All reports are acknowledged
within 24 hours and investigated within 2 business days
- Feedback loop (FBL) integration: We subscribe to all major ISP feedback loops and
process complaint signals within minutes of receipt
8. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP are taken seriously. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may
take the following actions:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a written warning with a
specified remediation timeline
- Sending suspension: Moderate violations or repeated minor violations will result in
suspension of the offending account's email sending privileges until remediation is confirmed
- Account termination: Severe violations (spam, phishing, malware distribution, or
repeated offenses) will result in immediate and permanent account termination without refund
- ISP and blacklist reporting: Confirmed spam or abuse incidents may be reported to
Internet Service Providers, industry blacklists (Spamhaus, SURBL), and relevant law enforcement
agencies
- Legal action: SavevyCoupons reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for
violations that cause financial harm, reputational damage, or legal liability
We maintain detailed records of all enforcement actions for a minimum of 24 months.
